Chapel Allerton Neighbors Come Together
A scheme to draw together the older community in Chapel Allerton was officially opened last month in conjunction with WRVS.
 Local MP Fabian Hamilton opened the event, which offered information about the services Chapel Allerton Good Neighbors provides, including exercise taster sessions, help with home improvements, and advice on care support and benefits.
Entertainment was provided at the event by the school choir from Chapel Allerton Primary School who sang several songs, including the uplifting Lean On Me; and some Irish Musicians got everyone's toes tapping.
Chapel Allerton Neighbors are to hold meetings on the first Tuesday of the month in the Methodist Centre on Town Street in Chapel A. Tuesday 3rd November will involve some entertaining 50’s songs and 1st of December will have a festive theme, organizers say.
