Archbishop of York visits LS11 Klub

In May the Archbishop of York came to visit the LS11 Tuesday Kidz Klub. It was brilliant to have him there, the team were so encouraged and the children were very excited.

Whilst visiting the Archbishop gave many words of encouragement to the team, telling them that we are really doing the work of God. That God's heart is for the children and we are looking after His children.

Our powerphrase at Klub that week was "Love your enemies" and He had some brilliant words to say to the children about it. He explained how it's not always easy to love your enemies, but it is so worth while.

The Archbishop also enjoyed a performance by the LS11 Sing-Along Choir that meets every Tuesday before Klub. The children really enjoyed performing for Him and the Bishops that came and visited with Him.

It was a brilliant evening all round.
