Livability is joining together with Churches Together in England, the Churches Regional Commission, Kirklees Faith Forum and Bradford Churches for Dialogue and Diversity to host an exciting event to help churches work with those of other faiths.
Date: Saturday 2 October 2010
Venue: Huddersfield Methodist Mission, Huddersfield, HD1 1QA
Time: 10.30am-4pm (we start promptly at 10am)
Cost: £5/person, please bring your own lunch

This day will resource churches in their work with those of other faiths. It is aimed at both church leaders and members.
This day will include:
- Talks from those with extensive experience working with people of other faiths
- Stories from local church community projects and how they have worked with those of other faiths – lessons learnt, barriers overcome
- Visits to local places of worship (Options: Buddhist, Hindu, Sikh and Muslim)
Facilitators for the day:
Celia Blackden, Churches Together in England, will speak about friendship and exchange
Helen Reid, Bradford Churches for Dialogue and Diversity, will speak about whether a good neighbour can be an evangelist
