Eden Network Update: August 2010

Hi There, 

I hope you're still enjoying a fab summer despite the rain! We're still very much on the road, with Emma and the team at Momentum this week and Matt and co at Greenbelt for the bank holiday. It was awesome to meet lots of you at New Wine and put faces to email addresses! It's been a summer for a talking about Eden but even with all the events new teams are gearing up to start in the autumn. Phil and Anna Sherratt have now moved to lead a new Eden team and church plant in Blyth, North East in partnership with Elim. Sadly they don't have a team yet, if you are looking for an exciting way to live out your faith alongside young people and their families in a tough urban community and have a heart for planting urban churches drop me a line!

TODAY ON EDEN... Over in Eccles, one of our newer Eden teams will run the Jam club while in Old Trafford the team will be out this evening doing detached work meeting young people who often are not already engaged in any formal activities and are easily involved in anti-social behaviour.

We've met so many amazing people over the summer and we're praying that among them will be new Eden Team Leaders, Eden Volunteers and prayer and financial supporters. Please pray with us that people who have heard about Eden over this summer will feel God's call and come and join us!
