Leeds Charity Advent Calendar on sale
Advent is a time of the Christian Calendar that most people outside of the church are familiar with. With this in mind Leeds Churches Together in Mission (LCTiM) has produced a festive novelty scratch-card advent
calendar to raise awareness and funds for a number of projects working with some of the most vulnerable and marginalised people in Leeds. Under each scratch-card panel is a daily message that points people to an interesting/ unusual/ fun way to think about and engage with the well-being of themselves, their communities and the city.
Calendars will retail for £1, and will be sold through shops, business and other organisations across Leeds. They are also available for churches, projects and individuals to use and distribute. If you would like to buy copies of this Advent Calendar for your congregation, churches together group, workplace, family/friends etc. please do get in touch on the details below. The calendars are available for distribution from as little as 60p each depending on the quantity taken (the revenue made by distributing them can be kept by your church/business/organisation – or donated back to LCTiM as an additional gift to the charities being supported). 30p from the sale of each calendar will go to LCTiM to cover production costs, all profit beyond this will go to the six named charities and organisations on the calendar.
The front image of the calendar has been designed by local illustrator Simon Smith, and the project has been underwritten by Leeds Christian Community Trust.
