Create December Workshop: Christmas Crafts
CREATE is for 11-15 year olds to explore and learn creative arts skills, aiming to support young people to use these skills in their local communities and churches with the help of their accompanying adults (or youth leaders) to teach others. The events are  participation-based--a team of young people consult with participants to help direct the events with adult support.
The workshops are held bi-monthly on a Saturday afternoon, 3-6 pm, at St Richards’s Church, Kentmere Avenue, Seacroft, Leeds, LS14 1BX. CREATE has a variety of themes such as: DJ-ing, leading worship, Christian conjuring, arts and craft, graffiti art, clowning, body art, music, dance and arts/crafts plus much, much more with professionals providing their skills. A small cost is involved, £3.50, and substantial refreshments are provided.
