The plan to move to Albion Street is gaining momentum, with just a few legal hurdles to negotiate. We would like to thank everyone who has attended one of our Vision Breakfasts over the past five weeks or who has remembered us in their prayers. We face an exciting challenge and a great opportunity to be a real “beacon of light” in Leeds City Centre. An official press release to follow shortly…..
Our challenge is to raise £200,000 to set the new premises up as a coffee shop, book shop and meeting rooms, so financial and prayer partners are much needed. There are four ways you can help on financing:
- a lump sum gift
- a monthly standing order
- an interest free loan
- a loan on which you receive interest at Bank of England rate plus 1%
This Monday we also saw the launch of the Living Oasis web-shop www.livingoasis.co.uk. On it you can choose the Leeds store as your local shop and then the purchases you make from the comfort of your home are credited to Leeds. In this way you can continue to support us locally even when you can’t make it to the shop.
