You are warmly invited to attend this event, the EY2010 Assembly for Yorkshire & the Humber Assembly, on 10 December in Bradford.

2010 is the European Year for Combating Poverty and Social Exclusion, and work has been taking place across the region to uncover the reality of poverty. The recession, cuts and new Government policy mean that poverty is changing.

Church Action on Poverty is organising regional events in Bradford (10 December) and Manchester (3 December) to bring the grassroots realities together with the perspectives of power-holders. Across the region, the UK and Europe, events and programmes have been uncovering what poverty looks like.
