Come join us in The Big Chocolate Tea Party

Written by Vicki Smith of The Sick Children's Trust:

Dear Sir/Madam,

The Sick Children’s Trust’s Big Chocolate Tea Party is back! And we’d love your community group to get involved.

Our last campaign took place in 2009 and was a huge success. Clubs, churches, associations, schools and individuals got involved and had fun sharing chocolate treats with their family and friends whilst raising money to help seriously ill children and their families.

This time we are running the campaign over Easter 2011 and we are hoping that your church would like to be part of it by hosting your own chocolate tea party to raise money for us. So please pencil it in your diary.

The chocolate tea party can be any size, from just one small party to a full blown chocolate extravaganza involving your entire congregation!

The Sick Children's Trust is a national charity that provides ‘Home from Home’ accommodation for families with seriously ill children in hospital. Having somewhere comfortable and homely to stay can help to alleviate some of the inevitable stress that comes with having a child in hospital and keeping a family together can speed up the child’s recovery.

The Big Chocolate Tea Party pack is ‘choc’ full of everything you need to make your party a huge success including invitations, posters, leaflets and even recipe cards full of delicious treats from celebrity chefs to inspire you. This will be ready in the next few months, so please make sure you register to receive yours by emailing your details to thebigchocolateteaparty@sickchildrenstrust.org

We are very excited about this campaign and we look forward to working with you to make The Big Chocolate Tea Party a success!

Kind regards,
