It's been a cold start to the winter but our Yorkshire Eden teams are pressing on with old and new ways to share the gospel.
Eden Buttershaw in Bradford have now purchased their Eden caravan and are getting ready to launch it in the New Year. They truly are taking the Gospel to the door steps of the community. The team is also growing with two new team members coming onboard.
Eden Arbourthorne in Sheffield continues to grow as it runs a variety of youth clubs and discipleship groups. Please pray for Simon Allison the Team Leader as he starts to run the ASDAN program in his local secondary school this month. Praise God for Bernadette who has recently joined the team and for another application in the pipeline.
Thank you for your prayers for Eden Fir Vale in Sheffield. Since praying for team members we have had four people apply to join the team including a potential Eden Team Leader. Please continue to pray for wisdom and a real sense of calling to Fir Vale as we process these applications.
Please continue to pray for SHINE SHEFFIELD 2011. In July 2011 we will see a great week of mission take place in five high schools in Sheffield. With The Message Trust bands, IYF theatre company and Golddigger from Sheffield is shaping up to be a week of great impact. With a number of Churches working together to see teenagers reached with the Gospel this could be a significant event for the city. Please pray especially for finances for this exciting initiative.
