Sidelined screenings

Sidelined: 9 stories of hope from the margins of Leeds is a new DVD produced by Leeds Churches Together in Mission. It features the stories of nine individuals whose lives have benefitted from the work of small church-led social action initiatives in the city. This includes people seeking asylum, who are or have been homeless, drug-dependent or in prison and women working in prostitution.

There will be two city centre screenings of the film during Poverty and Homelessness Action Week, to which all are warmly welcome:

Tuesday 1st Feb, 7.30 – 9pm @ Oxford Place Methodist Centre, LS1 3AX - The film will be followed by a Q&A with project leaders, with plenty of opportunity to find out more about the initiatives

Wednesday 2nd Feb, 12.30 – 1.30pm @ Leeds Church Institute, LS1 6DG - Bring a packed lunch, tea and coffee provided

These events are co-hosted by Leeds Churches Together in Mission and Leeds Church Action on Poverty.
