Some recent stories:
When giving out stickers in the response, I gave one to one girl and asked had God said anything to her? She said that God had told her to believe in Jesus. I asked if I could pray with her, to which she said yes. I was able to pray that she would believe in Jesus, that he would come in to her heart and that she would be friends with him forever. It is amazing to have the privilege of leading children to God!
During the response at Klub one week, we asked the kids to come up to the front if they wanted to believe in God and wanted to have him in their lives. We put down red sheets for them to come and sit on. What was really amazing, though, was that so many children came up to the front that we ran out of room on both the girl’s sheet and the boy’s sheet, next time we definitely need bigger sheets!
News:
We are all very excited in the office as Pancake Day is approaching.... As you may have heard already Kidz Klub Leeds is going pancake crazy this year!! This coming Shrove Tuesday, 8th March (or sometime that week), we are inviting you to host a pancake party in your home. This is a great way to spend time with friends and family and raise money for Kidz Klub Leeds all at the same time. All you need to do is gather together your friends and family and for a suggested £5 each cook up a storm! If you would like to help Kidz Klub in this, having fun and raising money all at the same time, please email us in the office(info@kidzklubleeds.org.uk), or else call us on 0113 245 6533.
