Multi Cultural Mission in a non-Church Attending Society Report

Hello and greetings to everyone

Please click here to read a full report of the Multicultural mission consultation held on 12th February. It was good to see so may people there and enthusiastically engaging with the issues. Many have expressed how invigorating it was and on a personal note it gave me renewed hope for our ongoing mission in Leeds. It was especially encouraging to meet some people for the first time.

The report covers issues, challenges and outcomes. The outcomes are so vital to work through, otherwise although we had a great time discussing things we will not move on.

These things cannot be worked out by some central organisation but only by us in our particular contexts so the challenge is for all of us. Having said that we want as much feedback as possible and the planning team will meet again to review responses. Hope for the Nations will continue to network and encourage links .

Please do get in touch regardless of whether you came to the consultation or not with any thoughts or comments. We value them so much.

A reminder of two important events sponsored by Hope for the Nations:

Global Day of Prayer  12th June        New Testament Church of God               Easterly Road Leeds . 6pm
Hope for the Nations International Celebration and Outreach    Briggate     Leeds    9th July      12-4pm

More publicity about these events will be sent to you nearer the time.

Looking forward to seeing you there.

May you know God's renewing and equipping

Paul Lancaster (on behalf of the planning team)
