Calling all Paid and Volunteer Childcare Workers!

Do you support children in Leeds?  Do you provide play sessions or clubs for children where disabled children could be included? If so you may be interested in our free training programme funded by Aiming High for Disabled Children.

If you are a volunteer or paid worker working with children in Leeds in any capacity including Sunday Schools, Creche facilities, baby sitting services, clubs or any dedicated provision you are eligable for a place on any or all of our training days.

The Children's Society, NCB and Barnardos are working in partnership to deliver an exciting package of training from now until the end of June 2011. We cover subjects like - "Early Identification of Additional Needs", "An Introduction To Working With Behavioural Issues", "Developing a Sensory Environment", "Communicating with Disabled Children", "Current Legislation", "Involving Disabled Children in Decisions", "Working in Partnership with Parents"...And many more!...

All trainings are delivered over 1 full day or two evenings.  All are stand alone trainings so you can do as many or as few as you like.  We also deliver on Saturdays if weekdays are difficult.

If you cannot come to us - we can come to you - just phone us to arrange a suitable day and time.
