Happy Easter from Eden Yorkshire!
In this season of paying the price and resurrection life we’re just inspired and encouraged again to see Eden in Yorkshire go from strength to strength. From the recent Urban Impact tour we had many people sign up to receive application packs to join Eden teams in Arbourthorne, Buttershaw and our new developing partnership in Fir Vale. We have seen the first of these applications come through and last month two applicants came to an Eden Taster Day visiting our teams in Manchester.
Joining Eden is a decision that impacts the whole of life and so it shouldn’t be made lightly. Our recruitment process is designed to be a journey of discerning God’s call and direction for people hungry to serve him in urban communities. Check out

http://www.eden-network.org/ Chris and Laura are just one example of people for whom the cost has turned into gain as they have found their home in Byker, Newcastle.
In their lives and others like them we see the Jesus pattern repeated, in counting the cost by the grace of God and in his strength they live out tiny acts of selflessness and love every day. Death to self births resurrection in urban neighbourhoods as young people and their families hear that they are loved by a God who suffered for them and who also rose defeating all the forces that bind them.
This Easter time please join with us in praying for those who are considering applying for Eden, that God would guide and inspire them and that his will would be done. We believe that we will see a new team launched in Fir Vale, Sheffield this year and that God is right now preparing the hearts of team members to launch this new venture as well as to join the work of teams in Arbourthorne and Buttershaw.
