Dear Church Leader & members
We would like to invite you to join us on Wednesday 8th June at 6.00pm for a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the International Students’ Club at Leeds University. This special evening will take place at the Emmanuel centre near the Parkinson Building at the main entrance to the University.
We do hope you will be able to join us to hear from students and volunteers past and present how the club has impacted their lives. There should be music, good hot food, presentations and a chance to thank God for all he has done through the ISC. The formal side of the celebrations will be finished by 8.00pm, though folk are welcome to stay on after.

The International Students' Club in Leeds or ISC is an inter-demonational outreach - the club was founded 25 years ago from St George's Church but now involves at several different churches. We welcome 50-100 international students each Wednesday from 6-8 or 9pm at the University chaplaincy at the Emmanuel Centre. Anyone is welcome to come and we need English-speaking Christians to help with this welcome. We are a team of about 12 Christians at the moment. We have a different programme each week and then an optional bible study in the last hour. Please come along; visit and spread the word. It is a great priviledge to be involved in this amazing mission at our doorstep! (we have had students from over 100 countries, teenagers studying English to visiting lecturers and postgraduates) We always needs more help from people who can be salt and light, prayer and financial support too.
