How does the Bible fit together? How does my life fit into the story? This morning will take an interactive tour through the Scriptures, with a special emphasis on living out what we find. Using an innovative 8-part Bible overview, we will cover the major movements in the Biblical narrative. Along the way we will build confidence in handling the Bible, discover new angles on difficult passages, and find inspiration for continued transforming Bible reading.
Mark Powley is Associate Rector of St George’s Leeds and coordinates the School of Theology. He has studied theology at Nottingham, Oxford and London. Mark has a passion for Biblical literacy and has written the discipleship guide 4Life (Cell UK), and The Big Story (Cell UK). Mark helped set up Breathe, a Christian network for simpler living, and his new book is Consumer Detox (Zondervan).
