Community RePaint schemes collect unwanted, surplus paint and re-distribute it to individuals, families and communities in need, improving the wellbeing of people and the appearance of places across the UK. In doing so the Community RePaint network provides social, environmental and economic benefits and is managed by the environmental consultancy, Resource Futures. Repaint
Last year 366 million litres of paint (retail and trade) were sold in the UK. Of this, it is estimated that approximately 55 million litres are unused, stored in homes or garages or just thrown away. That's enough paint to fill 22 Olympic-sized swimming pools!

Community RePaint provides a solution to this problem by providing an outlet for unwanted reusable paint while helping local communities and individuals.

We see 'waste paint' as a resource (as long as its reusable) so do your bit for the environment and your local community by donating your paint to us!

In 2010 the Community RePaint national network:

• saved 316,641 litres of paint, donated by householders and businesses, going to waste

• with a market value of over £1.25 million

• redistributed over 215,000 litres of paint to community groups, charities, voluntary organisations and people in social need.

Fantasic - just as I wanted to find some cheap paint to do up the local community hall, here was your notice! Brilliant timing!
