Roundhay Live

REAP
Roundhay Live - Saturday 18 June, Soldiers Field, Roundhay Park, 1pm - 4pm
(behind the Bowling & Cricket Clubs)

Want to find out what's on your doorstep?

There are a huge number of community groups offering all sorts of activities for the whole family to get involved with - yet most of us are unaware of all that's on offer, even though they're on our doorstep.

REAP, in conjunction with Friends of Roundhay Park and Friends of Gledhow Valley Woods, thought it would be a good idea to have a festival for all the groups to showcase what they are all about and help build a community. The groups will all be hosting activities for all the family, including children of all ages - who knows maybe they'll come away with a new hobby!

Don't forget to bring your bike and helmet if you would like to take part in the cycling activity!

Bring a picnic and rug, or visit the food stalls from 1pm -2pm
and then visit the activities from 2pm - 4pm

The event will be officially opened by MP Fabian Hamilton at 2pm
  • sports & hobbies
  • wildlife & environment
  • music & drama
  • cycling
  • dancing
  • history & heritage
  • painting

Saturday 18 June is also Oakwood Farmers' Market day, so if you're looking for the perfect additions for your picnic why not visit our stalls for fresh, seasonal local produce. This month will also see some very exciting guest stalls including Parsnipships selling some wonderful vegetarian fayre, Woodside who will be selling soft fruits and St Gemma's will be hosting a cake stall. All perfect for picnics at Roundhay Live.
