The Secretary of State for Education has not yet acknowledged that RE should be included in the new English Baccalaureate. The solution is easy and workable. We need the Government to listen and respond. With over 135,000 people already signed up - the Rt Hon. Michael Gove still has not altered his position - we need to work together to make him reconsider his decision.
Head teachers are saying that the only real solution is to allow students the choice of one of three humanities subjects - History, Geography or Religious Studies. No other solutions are workable.
