Interfaith Cricket Project

ICP CCC poster 19th JuneI would like to invite you to our forthcoming event on Sunday 19th June

The aim of our organisation is to use sports & other leisure activities as a method of engagement for disengaged/disconnected communities. Creating safe spaces for dialogue, where commonalities can be shared and differences can to be respected. Furthermore, we encourage individuals to feel part of the society and create opportunities for personal development by enabling them to learn life long skills, such as; qualifications in coaching, youth work & mentoring, confidence building, teambuilding, project management, fundraising and much more.
We are hopeful that this experience will enable individuals to become active citizens, whereby they will bring a positive contribution to the society in which they live, creating a more peaceful & harmonious place in the world.

Although the focus is on teenagers, there are no restrictions to age, gender, ethnic or religious background.

We are looking to expand this project in the months to come. We would like to allow an opportunity for organisations or individuals to contribute to the project by sharing their thoughts, good practice and any recourses that will enable this project in becoming even more successful. Any type of help, support or advise will be welcomed. Some basic examples of needs are transportation for young leaders to be dropped off/collected from various places, sports equipment and facilities, open spaces for events, meetings and training etc etc

I am grateful to you for taking out a few moments to read this, God bless.
