Stainbeck Church - 80 years old
80th Anniversary Celebrations, 2011
On Sunday 8th May Stainbeck Church celebrated 80 years of life and witness in the local community. After a joyful morning service, when we looked at the rich variety of our life, a Community Songs of Praise was held in the afternoon.
This event, by popular request, is becoming a regular. Agency representatives, local councillors, residents and our partner churches were among those who chose hymns and spoke about their role within our community. The church’s role and place within the community was celebrated by over 100 people and hearts and spirits were lifted.
Together we can make a difference.
