Big Night Out - Back in 2012!

Almost 1400 young people from across the North East came together to take part in the 'Big Night Out' at Lightwater Valley on Saturday 21st May. It was a fabulous evening - so good in fact that we are going to do it all again! The date for next year's event is Saturday 19th May 2012. We are really grateful for everyone's positive comments after the event. Your feedback is already helping us to ensure that next year's event is even better!

There is also an Urban Saints Football Holiday taking place in the summer. Click here for more information.

Scripture Union offer some holidays in the North East for groups or individual young people, and if you fancy travelling out of the region, there are a number of Urban Saints holidays taking place too.

And don't forget Harvest in Hutton Rudby, Tees Valley - our very own North East festival taking place between 17th and 21st August 2011. This year LZ7 will be the headline act. Speakers include Mark Ritchie, Rachel Gardner and Jamie Hill.

Three of the Best

This month, we're looking at...BANDS &  SINGERS

1. The Steels
. We love working with the Steels, and even though Simon is leaving, we're sure that  the new additions, Matthew and Gav, together with exisiting members Adam and Matt will continue to write fabulous music and lead people into worship. They are available for churches and schools, as well as taking part in bigger events across the country.

2. Philippa Hanna. We're struggling to keep track of Philippa at the moment! She's been gigging all over the country throughout 2012, and was a big hit at the Big Night Out. She is doing an acoustic  tour of churches in the Autumn, and is on the search for venues to host her. Contact her via the website if you are interested.

3.  GoldDigger  Following  their performance at XLS in the Minster, GoldDigger will be  delivering a workshop for girls at SPREE North, and  will also be performing at Harvest in Hutton  Rudby in August. They also have lots more gigs lined up, and do a lot of work in schools.

Could you add to this list? Then let us know so we can share with others!
