Honouring the past, securing the future.
This year marks a major milestone; 80 years. Our 80 Campaign is aiming to raise £80,000 by 31st July 2011.
St George’s Crypt has been providing care and support for homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged people since 14th October in 1930. Rev Don Robins first opened the doors to alleviate the considerable distress of many people who found themselves with next to nothing as a result of the depression.
Today the Crypt is made up of The Assisi Cafe, Overnight Centre, Training and Engagement Programme, Faith Lodge Hostel, Regent Terrace Hostel, Charity Shop in Oakwood, Nurture Horticulture and Nurture Food projects
We are inviting you to take part in our special year, right across the city and country from all sectors of the community – churches, schools, businesses, public bodies, youth organisations and private individuals.
Our Events page highlights the many sporting challenges, muscial events and other "fun" fundraising events going on as part of our 80 campaign.
