Planet Leeds + Leeds Summat application deadline THIS WEEK

First, this Saturday (23rd July, 11am-5pm) sees the annual free Planet Leeds street festival, with stages on Briggate and Dortmund Square in the city centre, featuring a rich mix of music and performers from all different communities and cultures across the city.

The festival is part of the Olympic Open Weekend (www.london2012.com/open-weekend). Special thanks to our valiant volunteers for pulling it all together. And this Friday (22nd July) is the initial application deadline for those wanting to host workshops, stalls, creative activities, or to perform at the Leeds Summat Gathering - due on Saturday 26th November.
