Leeds Faith in Schools - Volunteers needed
Leeds Faith in Schools are recruiting new volunteers to their team to be a part of their work facilitating young people's exploration of faith and Christianity in school. Through lessons, assemblies and lunch/after school groups we act as role models, encouraging students to view themselves and others in a positive light to become active members of their communities as well as educating young people on the Christian faith. We have specific need for male helpers in the Rawdon/Benton Park area and in the Meanwood/Carr Manor area, however there are still opportunities for those in other parts of the city. All volunteers will need criminal records check.

Also, each Tuesday at City of Leeds school LFIS run a lunch time club. It's half an hour of hectic fun, games, chilling and a little talk on something with a God focus. It's fun, challenging, but really great! We need volunteers, especially guys, as we cannot continue older groups if we do not have the people.
