When we think about going on retreat or having a ‘quiet’ day, we normally envisage going to a retreat centre or special ‘set aside’ place - usually in the country.

This day takes us to the heart of the city, and to a church hidden away amidst the noise and the rush of urban life, a quiet haven which is rich in spiritual heritage and artistic treasures. Using the church’s beautiful stone carved Stations of the Cross sculptures, we will journey with Jesus through his passion and death, and on into resurrection.

Our Facilitator

Facilitated by Ruth Smith, Community Mission Advisor with Livability, there will be times of guided reflection and you will have time and space during the day to reconnect with God and to replenish your spiritual energy. For more information on Livability, please visit www.communitymission.org.uk

In order to maintain an adequate level of quietness, spaces will be limited to thirty people.
