Celebrate Recovery: In Leeds?
Celebrate Recovery are always looking for churches in the Leeds area to catch the vision of what they do and think about starting a Celebrate Recovery group in their area. There are already over 30 registered Celebrate Recovery locations in the UK.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ centred, Bible based recovery programme designed to help people address a variety of hurts, habits, and hang-ups.
We meet together weekly in a safe and confidential setting. We work through a 12 step recovery programme which, together with the 8 principles, enables us to develop and deepen a relationship with Jesus. We have meaningful and challenging teachings. Each participant is encouraged to work through each step using weekly sheets or workbooks at their own pace in their own time.
In small, single sex groups we discuss questions from the workbooks or the teaching and examine how it affects us personally. This is a supportive and caring environment which allows us to open up as individuals and to make changes through developing with Jesus and each other new ways to live. This process brings peace, joy and freedom from our hurts, habits and hang-ups.
Remember, we do not recover alone.
 Personal Profile
Tony and Val live in Derby, England and have been married for more than 35 years. They have 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Tony is one of the full time pastors of East Midlands Christian Fellowships in Derby. Tony and Val have been a part of this church for over 27 years and they have been running Celebrate Recovery since 1999. Tony has served as UK Regional Director for Celebrate Recovery since 2008.
