What do Scientists Believe?

Results of a worldview survey

Richard Gunton

"Science" is often supposed to be a religiously-neutral enterprise, and some may imagine the ideal scientist to be a dispassionate being who is detached from philosophical commitment and religious activity. To help us explore what scientists are really like, and whether Christian scientists are different from any others, this evening's talk will present findings from a survey of 200 scientists asking just the sort of questions we normally ignore. Come and engage, in the spirit of empirical enquiry!
