Urgent need for food - St Vincent's Support Centre

URGENTSVP

The Leeds St Vincent's support centre needs help for it's food parcel service – they have completely run out of food and are having to turn desperate people away every day.  They have no funds left in their hardship fund to buy more food and so they are completely dependent on donations from friends and supporters in the Leeds community.

If you can organise a collection of non-perishable foods we would be very grateful.

The following items would be particularly useful:

-          tins containing ‘meals’, e.g. meatballs, macaroni cheese, spaghetti bolognaise, chilli etc
-          pasta, rice, pulses
-          soup
-          tins of vegetables
-          pot noodles or similar
-          tea, coffee, hot chocolate
-          items for children; baby/toddler food, nappies, wipes
-          toothbrushes and essential toiletries
