LCTiM enables the church in Leeds to speak with a common voice and to act together effectively on matters of common concern. It does not claim to speak for all Christians within the city, but it is constantly attempting to forge new links and bridge gaps in order to provide effective vehicles for joint voice and action.

 

During 2010, Leeds Initiative have been consulting on the Vision for Leeds to 2030. LCTiM submitted a short document entitled Agenda for Leeds 2010 - From A Christian Perspective

At other times this may involve work with the media. One such example was the first anniversary of the July 7th London bombings. LCTiM’s statement was issued on behalf of the churches in Leeds and was featured in the Yorkshire Evening Post and on Calendar News.
