Welcome to the Leeds Church Institute, an organisation with a history of offering Christian based education for the people of Leeds for over 150 years. LCI is well placed at the heart of the city and continues to develop training events and resources to assist learning for a faithful city.

ANNOUNCEMENT
Margaret Halsey has given notice of her intention to retire as Director of the Leeds Church Institute on 30th June this year, with her last day of service being Friday 28th June.
We take this opportunity to thank Margaret most warmly for all that she has given to the LCI in her time as Director, whilst being mindful that there will be an opportunity to thank her much more fully at the time her retirement takes effect.
Contributions to a retirement gift for Margaret would be very gladly received and can be sent to Haydn Farrar at the LCI.

Our library offers you access to the latest books on The Bible,  theology and ethics (with a specialism in the theology of the city), please see our latest acquisitions for 2012.

The Inaugural Hook Lecture was held at Leeds Parish Church on Thursday 17th November 2011 and details of this event can be seen here

Conferencing

LCI is also home to the very latest in conferencing facilities. Our rooms accommodate groups of up to 75 people and all are equipped with the latest technology including interactive whiteboards. Our recent refurbishment means that we are able to offer improved access to those who have visual and hearing impairments or difficulties with mobility.
