Kidz Klub Leeds - Frontline volunteers needed

Do you have a heart to see Leeds transformed for God?

Get involved, make a difference in your city.

Be the change you want to see.

About Kidz Klub Leeds:

Kidz Klub help over 2,000 deprived children from all areas of Leeds to feel safe, have fun, develop friendships and know the love of God. This vital work is under threat from lack of people to help. They desperately need more people to volunteer: supporting families with home visits, assisting with clubs and more. Anyone can get involved, aged 18-80, no experience needed.

Running for over 11 years, our dynamic, cutting-edge children’s work reaches over 2,000 children a week across inner city Leeds, through Community Work, Schools Work, Home Visits and Klubs.  Kidz Klub Leeds is cross-denominational and supported by local churches and Christian communities all over Leeds and elsewhere. We are privileged to see children finding belonging and building real relationships with God, to be part of changed lives and to see the outpouring of the Kingdom in inner-city Leeds.

  Get Involved on the Frontline:

Schools:               We have a vibrant Schools Work team, working in over 34 schools across Leeds. Taking assemblies and running lunchtime clubs, we get to reach children never touched by church. Join in the crazy dramas, object lessons and games that we do in assemblies, or go deeper into life topics and relationships with God in the lunchtime clubs. Being part of the schools team will take up to an hour a week, but is a diverse way of reaching children with the message of Christ.

Home visits:         Join one of our brilliant visiting rounds taking place across the city. Our visitors go into the communities and meet with every child who comes to Klub, they build relationships with children, families and communities. This is an extreme way of community shaping; meeting children, young people and families where they are at. We strive for consistency and through this relationships are formed. A visiting round takes between 1 ½ - 2 ½ hours and is a central part of who Kidz Klub is and what we do.

Kidz Klubs:          Volunteer in one of our weekly Klubs: Saturdays 8.30am-12.30pm in the City centre, Tuesdays 4.00-7.00pm in Beeston and Thursday 4.00-7.00pm in Middleton. These crazy Klubs are part Sunday school, part children’s TV. Our volunteers help make these Klubs happen: singing songs with the children, playing messy and loud games and teaching them valuable biblical and life lessons. Each child who comes through the door learns something more of God that week, is told that they are loved and spends time with our team of volunteers, continuing the consistency of relationship that we strive to maintain throughout all of our work.

Volunteers urgently needed for Home Visiting and the LS11 Kidz Klub Sessions.

What you need to

  How to get
