A generation or so ago it was the norm for children to attend Sunday School, regardless of the beliefs of their parents. In a post-Christian society, that is no longer the case. Kidz Klub Leeds hopes to make the difference for a generation of kids across Leeds. We offer the kids a positive alternative in a secure and safe environment. We work to meet the kids where they are at, seeking to support them, and provide the best in all that we do. Most of the children live in deprived areas of the city.

We would like to invite more congregations into partnership and extend into new areas of Leeds. Working together to see the children of our city reached is at the heart of Kidz Klub Leeds.

Part of the vision that we feel God has given us for the future is to see locally based Kidz Klub Satellites established in each area of the city not currently covered. The Satellites could run on weekday evenings after school time, during lunchtimes in schools, at weekends… however God leads!

Satellites follow the same format as the Saturday Kidz Klub, and the children are all visited at home. As with the LS11 Satellite, local congregations will be invited into partnership, working together as part of the city-wide vision of Kidz Klub Leeds. This is key. We don’t have a list of “target areas.” Our heart is to see Kidz Klub established in areas of the city as God leads, in His timing, alongside the people on the ground who carry a burden for and commitment to their local kids. So the only major difference with Satellites is that they will run at a different time, and in a different place to the Saturday morning Klubs. The team of volunteers will largely come from locally based congregations- all linked in with the central resources and ethos of Kidz Klub Leeds. We have seen with the LS11 Kidz Klub how working together at a city wide level enables things to happen that would not otherwise have been possible.

There are lots of exciting challenges as we look to the future. This is a first in seeing Satellites birthed out of unity amongst congregations.
